Chinese Language ECA Programme (Paid)
Join our after-school Chinese programme designed to build confidence and communication skills in a fun and engaging way.

🕓 Time: 16:30 – 17:30 (after CCAs)
📅 Schedule: Weekly sessions (see dates below)

Interactive lessons | Small group learning | Practical communication  
By the end of the 8 sessions, students will be able to:

• Introduce places in Chinese (classroom, library, canteen, etc.) 
• Use simple structures to describe location, activities, and features
• Speak confidently with natural expressions and body language
• Perform on camera and complete a 3-minute Chinese mini video project

  🎥 Final Outcome: Each student will take part in filming a short video: “My School Tour in Chinese”— a creative, shareable project that showcases both language skills and confidence.

This is more than a language class — it is a creative speaking experience that builds confidence, communication skills, and real-world expression.

Who Can Join & Learning Pathways

This program is open to:

• Beginner Learners
• Students with little or no prior Chinese knowledge.
• Learning goals

* Build basic vocabulary (places, actions, simple descriptions)

* Use core sentence patterns such as “This is…”, “Here is…”, “You can…”

* Develop confidence in speaking short, simple sentences 🌱 Elementary / Intermediate Learners Students with some prior exposure to Chinese. Learning goals:

* Expand sentence structures with more detail and fluency * Combine multiple ideas (location + function + description)

* Speak more naturally with simple connectors and longer expressions

👥 Flexible Grouping Students will be grouped based on age and language level to ensure appropriate pace, engagement, and learning outcomes. — 🧭

3. How do we get there?— Directions & positions

4. What can we do here?— Functions of places

5. What is this place like?— Describing places with adjectives

6. Putting it all together — Structured speaking practice

7. Rehearsal— Practice, feedback, and performance refinement

8. Final Presentation— Video filming and showcase
